Job summary

ALL VALVE INDUSTRIES P/L in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Smart Meter Operations Consultant to deliver and operate Smart Water services for customers. You will work across meters, NB-IoT connectivity, platforms, data and operational workflows to achieve customer outcomes.

You'll onboard deployments, troubleshoot issues, train customers and support pre-sales activities, ensuring seamless transitions from design to operations and building long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• IoT background with knowledge of devices, connectivity, platforms and data.
• Experience in water or digital water metering, including familiarity with LwM2M object models.
• Ideal if you have Temetra experience, or can be trained.
• Strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Configuring and operating Smart Water customer environments and platforms.
• Supporting the provisioning, commissioning and ongoing management of digital water devices.
• Monitoring device communications, NB-IoT connectivity, data quality and service performance.
• Investigating device, connectivity, platform and data issues and coordinating their resolution.
• Managing operational exceptions, incidents and customer support requests.
• Supporting smart water use cases including meter reading, billing, leak detection, continuous flow and consumption monitoring.
• Onboarding new customers and transitioning deployments into BAU operations.
• Delivering customer platform training and developing operational documentation and user guides.
• Building trusted relationships with customers and becoming a key operational contact for their Smart Water service.
• Participating in customer discovery, demonstrations and other pre-sales activities.
• Helping develop the processes, tools and operating model needed to scale our Smart Water services.
