Job summary

Harvey Norman Commercial Smart Technologies seeks a Sales Representative to design, specify, and deliver integrated smart home, automation, home cinema, and AV solutions across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in NSW/ACT.

Based in the ACT Mitchell Branch, the role works with developers, architects, builders, consultants, and end users to deliver scalable, high-performance technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in smart home automation, AV integration, or commercial AV sales/design.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems and distributed audio/video, and commercial AV systems.
• Experience across residential, MDU, BTR, hospitality, and commercial projects.
• Strong consultative sales, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, AV schematics, and system designs.
• Highly organised with strong quoting, CRM, and project coordination capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow automation and commercial AV sales opportunities.
• Design and specify integrated technology solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and equipment schedules.
• Manage projects from initial consultation through to delivery.
• Build strong relationships with developers, architects, builders, consultants, and technology partners.
• Maintain sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM activities.
• Support successful project delivery through collaboration with internal teams and integrators.
