Job summary

Harvey Norman Commercial Division is seeking a motivated Full Time Sales Consultant for our Taren Point office to grow the plumbing client base within smart technologies.

The successful candidate will drive custom automation and AV integration projects, engaging with developers, builders, architects and clients to design and deliver integrated systems across residential and commercial environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in smart home automation, AV integration or commercial AV system design/sales.
• Strong working knowledge of Control4, Savant and/or RTI control systems.
• Knowledge of distributed audio/video systems and home cinema design.
• Familiar with commercial AV systems and unified communications.
• Experience with Amber Technology product portfolio is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the custom automation and commercial AV integration business, leveraging key platforms.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across high-end custom homes, MDUs, Build-to-Rent and commercial developments.
• Engage with clients to design integrated systems including lighting, HVAC, security, home cinema and distributed audio.
• Prepare detailed proposals, equipment schedules and quotations aligned with client needs and budgets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from consult to project award and delivery handover.
• Build relationships with developers, builders, architects and contractors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external integrators to ensure delivery and commissioning outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation and scalable AV/automation packages across developments.
• Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline with forecasting and reporting.
