Job summary

Interflow is seeking motivated field crew members for permanent full-time roles across South East Melbourne. You will operate plant and equipment for pipeline renewal, perform general labour and assist civils with manhole/pit work, including excavation around live assets.

Role requires MR/HR licence, telehandler ticket, and a safety-first approach. Pre-employment medical and site training may be required. Interflow offers stable employment and great team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid MR or HR licence.
• Experience excavating around live assets.
• OHS Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Telehandler ticket (Gold card).
• Ability to work on sites across South East Melbourne.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to work in a team.
• A strong focus on safety.
• Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art Plant & Equipment in pipeline renewal.

The Opportunity

Due to ongoing business growth, we have an opportunity for new team members to join our field crews. This position is permanent full-time offering a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime. Given our vast range of services, there is plenty of variety with the roles and responsibility which include (but not limited to):

• Operating state-of-the-art Plant & Equipment in pipeline renewal (cleaning and assessments, pipe lining, junction cut & seal and flow management)
• General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
• Associate civils including Manhole/Pit alteration with rehabilitation
• Operation of excavators ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonne around water, gas or electrical assets

Your background may be from one of the following:

• Pipe maintenance experience such as reactive water main maintenance, plumbing, gas main and water main renewals
• NBN or electrical industries where you have excavated around live assets
• Or you might want to break into the industry, if so we'd like to hear from you!

Key Selection Criteria:

• Valid MR or HR licence

• Have the ability to work on sites across South East Melbourne

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will be subject to apre-employment medical(including a drug & alcohol test). Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
