Job summary

The Coffee Club Robina is seeking a passionate Cook to join our busy kitchen team. You will prepare and cook meals to high standards, follow menu guidelines, and maintain presentation and hygiene.

This role requires a Cert IV or higher, at least one year of relevant experience in a cafe/restaurant, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. On-site cooking duties and HACCP compliance are involved.

Qualifications

• Cert IV or higher in the relevant field.
• One year of relevant experience in a cafe/restaurant environment.
• Attention to detail and personal/professional pride.
• Ability to work alone and as a team.
• Knowledge of current Food safety standards and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high quality food according to menu guidelines and presentation.
• Prepare food to order and accommodate allergies and dietary requirements.
• Monitor and cook a variety of dishes using different methods.
• Maintain quality and presentation of dishes.
• Stock rotation, quality control and ingredient preparation.
• Train kitchen staff including apprentices and trainees.
