The Coffee Club in Orange, NSW is seeking a full-time Cook to join their team. You will prepare café-style meals from all-day breakfasts to modern café classics, ensuring quality, consistency, and attention to detail.

The role includes collaborating with front-of-house staff to deliver timely service and maintaining kitchen hygiene. Applicants should have a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management/Commercial cookery and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team

Qualifications

You will ensure each meal is prepared with quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and portion control
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver timely service
• Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
• Maintain proper temperatures on ovens, grills and fryers for safe, consistent cooking
• Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
• Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff where required

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1yr previous experience as a cook
• Qualification: A Certificate IV in Kitchen Management/Commercial cookery
• Knowledge of food preparation, dietary requirements and allergen handling
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
