Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Kitchen Management/Commercial cookery required.
- Experience in cafe-style cooking and menu execution.
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergen handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of café-style meals.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portions.
- Uphold kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house for timely service.
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
- Monitor temperatures on ovens, grills and fryers.
- Support junior kitchen staff.
