Job summary

Dematic is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician or Mechanical Fitter to maintain electrical and mechanical systems across multiple Queensland sites. You will troubleshoot conveyors and automation equipment while working a 5/4 roster including weekends and public holidays.

Travel to various customer sites is required, with training and development supported. This hands-on role requires strong mechanical aptitude, team collaboration, and excellent communication with

• Ideal for a qualified Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician OR Mechanical Fitter with strong hands‑on skills and a knack for problem solving with great Mechanical aptitude
• Work a 5/4 roster shift pattern (days and nights) which includes weekends and public holidays
• Be able to work flexible rosters across various Qld customer sites – flexibility required
• Overtime and additional shifts available if you are looking to boost your earnings
• In this role, you will be based at Berrinba with capabilities of travelling to multiple sites to develop your skills and gain experience in working across multiple high‑profile QLD customer sites

Tasks and Qualifications

What We’re Looking ForAustralian Trade Qualification (is essential)Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician ORCertificate III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter and Turner)

• Someone who has no issues in working either autonomously on their own or in a team environment, and can make sound decisions
• Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, automation, CMMS is a plus – but not essential (we’ll train you)
• A technician who can think on their feet and be able to work independently or with a small team

Note: Australian working rights are essential for this role.
