Job summary

Dematic is seeking a qualified Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a full-time afternoon shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) at our Kemps Creek site in Australia. You will work hands-on with electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshoot equipment, and support the implementation of automation technology at a key customer site.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification is essential: Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade or Unrestricted Electrical Licence is required.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team and make sound decisions.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience and problem-solving mindset.

What We’re Looking For:

• Australian Trade Qualification (is essential): Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
• Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade or Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• A technician who has no issues in working either autonomously on their own or in a team environment, and can make sound decisions
• Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, automation, CMMS is a plus – but not essential (we’ll train you)
