Job summary

Dematic is seeking a qualified Electrical OR Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a full-time role at our Kemps Creek site. Join a global leader in automation and robotics and contribute to fault finding, preventive maintenance and swift repairs on complex equipment.

The position offers an afternoon shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) with a 15% loading, occasional Saturday overtime, and a strong culture of career development and safety. Australian working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification is essential.
• Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade.
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Able to work autonomously or in a team environment.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with maintenance experience.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, CMMS is a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Based at the Kemps Creek customer site with exposure to latest automation tech.
• Occasional Saturday overtime.

Tasks and Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Australian Trade Qualification (is essential):
• Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
• Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade
• or Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• A technician who has no issues in working either autonomously on their own or in a team environment, and can make sound decisions
• Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, conveyors, automation, CMMS is a plus – but not essential (we’ll train you)
