Job summary

Pathway Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to lead residential builds in Townsville. You will oversee daily site operations, manage subcontractors and trades, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates hold QBCC Builder Low Rise Certification or QBCC Site Supervisor Low Rise licence and have strong knowledge of Queensland building rules, safety, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within residential construction.
• Strong background managing new home builds, volume residential projects, or custom residential construction.
• Sound knowledge of Queensland building legislation, codes, standards, and site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily site operations across multiple residential construction projects.
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
• Ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining WH&S compliance.
• Managing construction schedules, trade sequencing, and project milestones; liaising with clients, office staff, construction managers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Identifying and resolving site issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintaining accurate site documentation, progress updates, defects, and handover requirements.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the build process.

About You

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within residential construction
• Strong background managing new home builds, volume residential projects, or custom residential construction
• Current QBCC Builder Low Rise Certification or QBCC Site Supervisor Low Rise licenceTrade background highly regarded, ideally carpentry or a related building trade
• Sound knowledge of Queensland building legislation, codes, standards, and site safety requirements
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, trades, deadlines, and priorities at once
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Current driver’s licence and White Card
• Proactive, reliable, hands on, and solutions focused
