McHugh Steel Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based steel fabrication and construction leader, is seeking a Site Supervisor to take ownership of on-site activities, coordinate trades, manage deliveries and uphold safety and quality standards. You will lead multiple crews, liaise with clients and contractors, and drive projects to completion on time and within budget.

Ideally you hold a QBCC Building Supervisors Licence (highly desired), a White Card, a construction background and a proven ability to

• Ensure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Maintaining site safety and cleanliness.
• Ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard.
• Enforce and adhere to OH&S regulations.
• Attend weekly construction meetings.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Site Supervisors to join our McHugh Steel team.

Are you someone who can take ownership of site, manage day-to-day activities, coordinate deliveries, build strong relationships with clients, contractors and crews and lead the team to achieve consistent result.

Do you have experience in domestic or commercial construction, Roofing or a related trade?

If you do you could be our Site Supervisor and bring your skills to a thriving local business.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Pre site/measures and post inspections/quality control checks
• Full site supervising/project management
• Installations for maintenance for fascia, gutter and roofing
• Liaising with onsite trades and building supervisors
• Day to day scheduling, management and coordination of trades on site, suppliers & deliveries, completion of paperwork and other admin tasks.

About You:

• Has strong leadership & motivational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractors
• An ability to ensure that jobs are scheduled effectively and are managed within budget and time specifications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Confidence and ability in dealing with a diverse range of people
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, including oral and written communication
• A passion to produce a high quality of work

Job requirements:

• QBCC Building Supervisors Licence held (highly desired)
• Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
• Trade/Construction background
• Current Drivers Licence
