JFH Konstrukt invites an experienced Site Supervisor to lead our Brisbane-based aluminium screens and balustrade team. You will oversee daily site operations, coordinate with offshore suppliers, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You will manage on-site teams, conduct toolbox talks, maintain records, review drawings, and liaise with clients and project managers to provide regular updates while upholding our safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety procedures and relevant legislation.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.

JFH Konstrukt is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing aluminium screens and balustrade team. This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, QLD 4000, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing on-site teams, coordinating with offshore suppliers, and maintaining compliance with all health and safety regulations. This position is integral to the successful execution of our construction projects and represents a key leadership role within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all offshore, manufacturing activities, logistics and on-site activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications, timelines and budgets
• Manage and motivate site teams, including labourers, tradespeople and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
• As a site supervisor, must have background experience in aluminium manufacturing, boiler maker with carpentry experience.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings to maintain a culture of safety and compliance on site
• Monitor health and safety standards, conduct risk assessments and ensure all workers comply with safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, progress logs and documentation as required
• Inspect completed work and materials to ensure quality standards are met and identify any defects or issues
• Liaise with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on site progress
• Manage site resources, including equipment, materials and personnel to maximise efficiency
• Identify and address on-site problems promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary
• Ensure the site environment is kept clean, organised and compliant with environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or similar supervisory role within the construction industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety procedures and relevant legislation
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Certificate) or equivalent qualification
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and direct diverse teams
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings and specifications
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations, including WHS Act requirements
• Proven ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate with offshore manufacturer ensuring compliance with project design documentation
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in challenging situations
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
• Computer literacy and familiarity with site management software or similar tools is advantageous
• Relevant qualifications such as Site Supervisor certification, First Aid, Carpentry, Boiler Maker, Metal Works fabrication.
