Job summary

Morson Edge (Australia) is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Lead to join our Chatswood project in Sydney. You will drive safety standards across a major high-rise site, conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks and ensure NSW WHS compliance on the project.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in construction safety, high-rise building experience, and a hands-on, practical approach. Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety is required, with strong communication and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in construction safety.
• Strong high-rise building experience.
• Experience working across high-risk construction activities.
• Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical, hands-on approach to site safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety standards and promote a proactive safety culture across the site.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Review SWMS, risk assessments and project safety documentation.
• Lead toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings.
• Investigate incidents and support corrective actions.
• Engage with subcontractors, supervisors and project teams.
• Provide practical WHS advice and support across the project.
• Monitor compliance with NSW WHS legislation and project requirements.
