Job summary

Manpower Australia in Sydney is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to oversee safety across multiple commercial projects, blending office and site-based duties to promote a proactive safety culture.

You will conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments, ensure WHS compliance, lead incident investigations, and support safety training and planning with project teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to influence site teams toward safer outcomes.
• Relevant safety qualifications (certificates/licenses).
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across projects.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, policies and client requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety initiatives and training programs.
• Support risk assessments, SWMS reviews and safety planning.
• Prepare safety reports and provide guidance to site personnel and management.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
