Job summary

Morson Edge (Australia) is seeking a Safety Lead to drive WHS across a major high-rise construction project in Brisbane. You will review SWMS, lead toolbox talks, and engage with subcontractors to uphold safety excellence.

The role requires high-rise construction safety experience, strong communication, and relevant high-risk construction certifications. A Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety is highly desirable. This is a site-based opportunity with long-term project prospects.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety standards across the project.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
• Review SWMS, risk assessments and safety documentation.
• Lead toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Engage with subcontractors, supervisors and project teams.
• Provide practical WHS advice across the site.
