Job summary

Intro Recruitment Solutions is assisting a respected Queensland builder to appoint an experienced HSE Advisor who will own site safety across multi-site residential and commercial projects. You will partner with project teams to deliver best-practice health and safety outcomes, lead inductions and risk assessments, and drive a positive safety culture through strong leadership and clear communication.

The role requires 3+ years' experience, a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, and a solid

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as an HSE Advisor within commercial or multi-residential construction.
• Experience on projects valued at $30M+ is highly regarded.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
• Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation.
• Confident communicator who can influence subcontractors and site teams.
• Passionate about creating safe, high-performing project environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive a positive safety culture across the project.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company procedures.
• Lead site inductions, toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventative actions.
• Coach site teams and subcontractors on best practice.
• Maintain accurate safety reporting and documentation.
• Build strong relationships across site and project teams.
