Job summary

Hunter Recruitment Group is seeking an Operations Coordinator for a site/office-based role in the Newcastle region. The role supports compliance, quality, project delivery and administration to enable crews to focus on the tools.

It involves coordination across safety, QA, procurement and client liaison. Ideal candidates will have experience in heavy industry, fabrication or maintenance, with a strong grasp of WHS, ITPs, NDT and document control.

Responsibilities

• Compliance & Safety: compiling and submitting rescue plans, SWMS, inductions and medicals; toolbox talks; safety management and regulatory compliance.
• Quality Assurance: QA of fabrication drawings, hydrotesting, IT Plans, weld procedures, document control; QA records; ensure standards meet expectations.
• Project Coordination: procurement, client liaison, depot maintenance scheduling, resource allocation, tender support and supplier invoices oversight.
