Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a site-based HSEQ Coordinator to support Health, Safety, Environment and Quality outcomes on a live construction project. The role blends on-site presence with systems compliance to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key duties include conducting safety walks, preparing safety plans, enforcing OH&S legislation, investigating incidents, delivering training, and managing relationships with workers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
• 12+ months experience in a Health & Safety role working for a head contractor
• Experience working on commercial projects
• Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Pre-starts, site safety walks and inspections
• Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
• Ensure legislation is adhered to
• Investigate and report on incidents
• Provide training to team members
• Conduct reviews and risk analysis
• Manage and develop relationships with employees and subcontractors
• Rostered Saturday work
