A leading mining operation in the Hunter Valley is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their site-based team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about driving a proactive safety culture. You will support leaders in implementing safety systems, conduct audits, and incident investigations, while engaging closely with teams. A background in mining or similar high-risk environments, along with strong data analysis skills, is essential. Offering a Monday to Friday site-based roster, annual leave, and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role.
• Background in mining or other high-risk industries.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capability.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of site Health & Safety systems.
• Facilitate risk assessments across operational areas.
• Conduct incident investigations and support root cause analysis.
• Maintain safety management systems and reporting frameworks.
• Undertake site audits, inspections, and compliance activities.
