Hunter Recruitment Group is seeking an Operations Coordinator for a site/office-based role in the Newcastle region. The role supports compliance, quality, project delivery and administration to enable crews to focus on the tools.
It involves coordination across safety, QA, procurement and client liaison. Ideal candidates will have experience in heavy industry, fabrication or maintenance, with a strong grasp of WHS, ITPs, NDT and document control.

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with our lead hands on resource allocation and job priorities, the Operations Coordinator is the engine room of the business. You will keep our compliance, quality, project delivery and administration running smoothly so our crews can stay focused on the tools. It is a broad, hands‑on role that touches almost every part of the operation.
This role will suit an organised, switched‑on operator who thrives on variety and takes genuine ownership of getting things done. You will likely come from a heavy industry, engineering, fabrication or maintenance background and understand what good safety and quality systems look like in practice.

This is a full‑time, site/office-based role in the Newcastle region, working Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 1:00pm. A competitive salary package will be discussed with shortlisted candidates, commensurate with experience. Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia and hold a current driver's licence.
The successful candidate will need to meet pre‑employment screening criteria, including a medical and drug & alcohol test, a criminal history check, and provide 2 x work‑related referees.
