Job summary

Pinnacle Project Solutions in Brisbane is seeking a Site Manager/Coordinator to lead on-site delivery, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring client interests are protected across live projects valued from $50k to $5M. You will manage HSE paperwork, review permits, track progress against the schedule, and work with the Project Manager on costs and forecasting.

A trade or engineering qualification, White Card and a valid driver's licence are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager, Superintendent or Project Engineer
• Background in manufacturing, process plant, mining or chemicals
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors across civil, SMP and E&I
• Good knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation and permit to work systems
• Current White Card and valid driver's licence

Responsibilities

• Be the client's on-site representative and manage subcontractors from mobilisation to handover
• Oversee HSE compliance, SWMS/JHA, permits, and pre-start meetings
• Ensure quality by reviewing ITPs and handover documentation
• Track schedule, coordinate access and shutdowns, flag delays early
• Support cost control, progress claims, variations, and forecasting data
• Maintain clear site records and project reports

As PPS continues to grow and expand its client base, we are seeking a Site Manager/Coordinator to join the team here in Brisbane. Most of your time will be spent working onsite in owner’s team roles on live, operational sites and managing projects from $50k - $5M. You'll look after the client's interests and manage the subcontractors who come in to deliver packages of construction and upgrade works to their plants.

What you'll be doing

• Being the client's representative on site, managing subcontractors from mobilisation through to handover
• Managing HSE of the works: reviewing HSE paperwork such as SWMS, JHA’s, Permit applications etc, making sure subcontractors comply with all the site rules, and attending daily pre-start meetings and SIMOP meetings
• Keeping quality on track: reviewing ITPs, attending inspections and hold points, and making sure you get complete handover documentation
• Keeping an eye on the schedule: tracking progress against the programme, coordinating access and shutdowns with operations, and raising delays early
• Working with the Project Manager on costs, including checking progress claims, spotting and assessing variations, and giving accurate information for forecasting
• Being the main link between site, operations and the project team, and keeping clear site records and reports

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Manager, Superintendent or Project Engineer
• A background in manufacturing, process plant, mining, chemicals or similar
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors across civil, SMP and E&I works
• A good working knowledge of Queensland WHS legislation, permit to work systems and working safely around live plant
• The confidence to hold subcontractors to account while keeping good working relationships
• A sound understanding of contracts, variations and cost control
• A trade or technical background, or a construction or engineering qualification, is highly regarded
• A current White Card, and valid driver's licence
