Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Canberra is seeking a proactive Site Engineer to take ownership on site, learn from experienced professionals and contribute to delivering quality projects across Canberra.

You will work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager, coordinating subcontractors, planning, QA, safety and progress reporting to keep milestones on track and build your technical delivery capabilities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Previous site engineer experience in commercial construction.
• Understanding of drawings, specs and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities to align with programme.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling and progress reporting.
• Manage QA documentation, inspections and ITPs.
• Monitor site safety and WHS compliance.
• Review drawings and technical docs to resolve issues.
• Assist with procurement and material orders.
• Maintain site records and daily reports.
