Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced Project Support Coordinator in Melbourne to focus on the North East Link Project. You will manage workforce mobilisation, plant onboarding, and compliance registers, driving safety, quality and cost outcomes on a landmark transport project.

You will report to the Contracting/Construction Manager and coordinate multiple priorities across stakeholders, with emphasis on audit readiness and timely renewals.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in business administration, project management, construction or compliance is desirable.
• Experience in project administration, compliance, assurance or coordination within construction or infrastructure.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors or major projects is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines across concurrent work fronts.
• Sound knowledge of workforce and plant compliance documentation, registers and expiry management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to follow up actions and escalate risks.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and document/register management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralised coordination of workforce mobilisation, plant compliance and assurance activities across the Project portfolio.
• Ensure onboarding requirements for employees, subcontractors and equipment are complete before mobilisation.
• Maintain accurate compliance and audit registers, monitoring expiry dates and renewals.
• Support mobilisation planning for major shutdowns and weekend campaigns and identify compliance risks.
• Foster a zero-harm culture and support safe, compliant and efficient project delivery.
