Job summary

Downer is seeking an Area Works Supervisor to support the Government and Infrastructure Management team in delivering coordinated works and services. The role involves planning, problem-solving, and building strong relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes.

You will report to the Regional Manager and contribute to reliable, well-managed services that support essential operations, with a focus on planning, coordination, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Construction White Card is required.
• Qualification or relevant experience in Project Management, Property Maintenance or a trade background.
• Experience delivering planned works programs in a similar role or industry.
• Confidence working with outsourced service providers and subcontractors.
• Experience in building, construction or property maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope works in line with client standards, delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities, including property scoping and engagement with external delivery partners.
• Monitor work quality to ensure it meets contractual, client and company expectations.
• Track and support the achievement of contractual KPIs.

Join our Government and Infrastructure Management team and play a key role in supporting the coordinated delivery of works and services, working closely with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll contribute to delivering reliable, well‑managed services that support our essential operations.

This role is well suited to people who enjoy planning, problem‑solving and building positive working relationships.

What You'll Do
