NW People Group Pty Ltd seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer to deliver end-to-end ITSM and ITOM solutions for Defence and government environments in Canberra. The role involves hands-on development, MID Server deployment, integrations, testing and documentation across restricted networks.

The candidate must hold an active TSPV clearance with strong ServiceNow implementation experience and exposure to Defence or Federal Government projects.

Qualifications

• Experience across ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalogue.
• Experience with ITOM: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and MID Server.
• Experience in Defence or Federal Government environments is preferred.
• Active TSPV (Top Secret) clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM solutions in secure environments.
• Deliver workflows for Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, and Service Catalogue.
• Configure Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and Orchestration.
• Deploy and troubleshoot MID Servers across segmented networks.
• Develop ServiceNow functionality using JavaScript and platform scripting.
• Build integrations using REST, SOAP, LDAP, and file-based interfaces.
• Lead requirements workshops with technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

ServiceNow Developer - ITSM/ITOM | TSPV Clearance

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to work with a global consulting firm to deliver end-to-end ServiceNow solutions within highly secure Defence and government environments.

Working across high-side and low-side networks, you will deliver secure ITSM and ITOM solutions within complex Defence and government environments in Canberra. This hands-on role will involve ServiceNow development, configuration, MID Server deployment, system integrations, testing and technical documentation across restricted and segmented networks.

Candidates will require strong ServiceNow implementation experience, Defence or Federal Government exposure, and an active TSPV clearance. This is a hands-on project-delivery role where you will collaborate with architects, project managers and client stakeholders to deliver robust, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM solutions within secure environments
• Deliver Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB and Service Catalogue workflows
• Configure Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and Orchestration capabilities
• Deploy and troubleshoot MID Servers across segmented and restricted networks
• Develop ServiceNow functionality using JavaScript, GlideScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Flow Designer
• Build integrations using REST, SOAP, LDAP, file-based interfaces and e-bonding
• Facilitate requirements workshops and solution walkthroughs with technical and business stakeholders
• Develop and execute unit, system integration and user acceptance testing
• Support data migration, cutover and go-live activities
• Produce solution designs, as-built documentation, runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials
• Ensure solutions comply with the Australian Government ISM, PSPF and client security requirements

Skills/ Experience Required:

• An active TSPV security clearance
• At least two years of hands-on ServiceNow, Microsoft Service Manager or BMC implementation experience across multiple project lifecycles
• Strong ServiceNow ITSM experience across Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalogue and Service Portal
• Strong ITOM experience, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management and MID Server architecture
• ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript and platform scripting capabilities
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting MID Servers within segmented network environments
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, LDAP and file-based integrations
• Experience working within Australian Defence or Federal Government environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical documentation skills
