Job summary

JENSEN Australia is seeking a Service Technician based in the Melbourne metro area (home based) with travel to job sites within Greater Melbourne and interstate. You will install and commission industrial laundry equipment and respond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and performing repairs while delivering proactive maintenance and adhering to safety policies.

The role requires strong teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel across Australia; overtime and weekend work

Qualifications

Job description

JENSEN Australia is looking for a Service Technician. The position will be based in Melbourne Metro Area (home based) with travel required to job sites within Greater Melbourne including interstate.

In this challenging role you will report to the Service Manager. Duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Installation and commissioning of industrial laundry equipment including machinery that utilizes AI and hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Attend to breakdowns, diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Provide reactive and preventative maintenance.

Key requirements:

• Have well developed interpersonal skills and be a team player
• Understand the importance of Health & Safety compliance on work site and adhere to the company\'s Health & Safety policies and practises
• Experience in heavy industrial machinery is desirable
• Must be able to work under pressure and deliver results
• Must be prepared to work overtime and occasionally on weekends
• Must be prepared to travel Australia wide occasionally
