Job summary

Terex Jaques in Dandenong South is seeking a Service Manager to lead aftermarket service operations across Victoria. You will drive customer satisfaction, lead technicians, and oversee workshop, manufacturing and field service activities, contributing to business growth.

The role combines technical leadership, customer engagement, operational oversight and commercial accountability in a high-visibility leadership position.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar.
• Proven leadership experience within a field service, maintenance or workshop environment.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Field and Onsite Service Technicians.
• Build strong relationships with customers and identify service opportunities.
• Oversee workshop, manufacturing and field service work to ensure quality, safety and efficiency.
• Review condition reports, quotations and repair scopes.
• Manage service job planning, labour allocation and job profitability.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, WIP management and job close-out.
• Contribute to service sales planning, budgeting and business growth.
• Drive continuous improvement and champion a strong safety culture.
