Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Melbourne is seeking a Service Foreman to lead our workshop team of technicians and apprentices. You will allocate jobs, provide technical guidance, and help develop your team to deliver high-quality, safe service for agricultural and heavy equipment.

You will work closely with the Service Manager to coordinate activities, drive efficiency, and uphold standards while ensuring excellent customer support and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with 3+ years as Service Technician
• Strong technical and diagnostic abilities
• Experience with agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment
• Forklift licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Allocate jobs and workshop resources
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and apprentices
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
• Review repair orders for accuracy
• Coordinate technician training and skills development
• Support workshop safety initiatives and team performance
• Maintain and manage workshop tooling and equipment
• Assist with customer concerns and service-related enquiries
• Lead in the Service Manager's absence
