Job summary

Brandt Tractor Australia is seeking a Service Foreman at our Pakenham workshop to lead a high-performing team of technicians and apprentices. You will coordinate job allocations, provide technical guidance, and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery.

You will partner with the Service Manager to drive training, performance, and customer satisfaction while maintaining gear and workshop tooling. Previous John Deere exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification and at least 3 years' experience as a Service Technician.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and technical skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor others.
• Experience with agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment.
• Forklift licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support allocation of jobs and workshop resources.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians and apprentices.
• Assist with diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.
• Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate technician training and skills development.
• Support workshop safety initiatives and team performance.
• Maintain and manage workshop tooling and equipment.
• Assist with customer concerns and service-related enquiries.
• Lead in the Service Manager's absence.
