Job summary

Lynx Auto Services is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to manage bookings and liaise with technicians to keep the workshop running smoothly. You will answer inquiries, provide estimates, and ensure a positive service journey for every customer.

Full training is provided, and the role includes a six-month maternity leave cover with ongoing support from a friendly, family-owned team.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Confident speaking with customers over the phone and in person.
• Organised and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Reliable, punctual and pride in work.
• Can work independently and in a team; comfortable with computers.
• Interest in automotive industry; prior automotive/service advisor experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer enquiries.
• Book vehicles in for servicing and repairs.
• Manage customer bookings and workshop schedules.
• Order and follow up on parts as needed.
• Act as main contact for customers throughout repair process.
• Provide updates, recommendations and estimates to customers.
• Prepare and process invoices and estimates.
• Liaise with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and job completion.
• Handle general administration and office duties.
• Ensure every customer has a friendly, professional experience.

• Ensuring every customer receives a friendly, professional and positive experience
