Job summary

Public Transport Authority in Western Australia is seeking an experienced workforce development leader to manage the Workforce Development function and lead a team of consultants delivering a diverse portfolio of programs, including graduate, apprenticeship, trainee and specialist pathways.

You will work with executives, industry partners and training providers to keep programs effective, contemporary and aligned with organisational needs, with a focus on capability and supply for WA's public

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing teams, driving change and continuous improvement in a complex organisation.
• Track record delivering workforce development programs that strengthen workforce capability and align with policy frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and the ability to build trusted relationships with executives, partners and training providers.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills to balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Workforce Development function and a team of consultants.
• Deliver and continuously enhance a diverse portfolio of graduate, apprenticeship, trainee and specialist pathways.
• Collaborate with executives, industry partners, government agencies and training providers to keep programs current and effective.
• Influence workforce development outcomes across a large and complex organisation.
