Job summary

genU Social Enterprise in Western Australia is seeking a Workforce Team Leader to support site teams and supported employees across Perth and WA. Reporting to the Social Enterprise Manager, you will lead Workforce Coordinators and oversee recruitment, training, and pathways for supported employees while ensuring NDIs standards and inclusive practices.

You will build relationships with schools and disability sector partners, manage compliance, and drive continuous improvement through data.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in disability services, community services, employment services, social enterprises, or a related sector.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience in recruitment, workforce development, stakeholder engagement, and supporting individuals to achieve employment outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of NDIS requirements, employment legislation, compliance frameworks, and supported employment practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Workforce Coordinator team across WA, ensuring consistent, compliant, and best-practice workforce processes.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities to maintain a strong pipeline of supported employees.
• Develop and oversee training, career development, and transition programs that help employees build skills and achieve employment goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organisations, employment services, and disability sector partners to create employment opportunities.
• Monitor workforce performance, compliance, and reporting, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture that empowers people with disability to succeed in the workplace.
