Job summary

Public Transport Authority in Western Australia is seeking an experienced workforce development leader to manage the PTA's Workforce Development function and lead a team of Workforce Development Consultants delivering a diverse portfolio of graduate, apprenticeship, trainee and specialist pathways that build our future workforce capability.

You will collaborate with executives, industry partners, government agencies, training providers and educational institutions to keep programs effective,

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing teams, driving change and continuous improvement, and achieving results in a complex organisational environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian VET system and contemporary people management practices.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the workforce development programs and pathways and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with executives, industry partners, government agencies and education providers.
• Ensure programs remain effective, contemporary and aligned with organisational needs.
• Shape strategy and deliver outcomes across WA's largest public transport employer.
