Leidos Australia is seeking a Senior Windows Engineer to maintain and evolve enterprise Windows infrastructure across modern on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. You will partner with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams to deliver reliable, scalable IT services for government and defence customers.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Windows Server engineering, systems administration, or enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, and authentication services.
• Experience administering enterprise-scale Windows environments, including lifecycle management, patching, certificates, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, optimisation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Windows Server environments for high availability and supportability.
• Contribute to infrastructure modernisation, cloud adoption, automation, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Drive security and compliance through system hardening, patch management, identity controls, and best practices.
• Provide senior technical expertise for complex incidents, root-cause analysis, and mentoring across teams.
