Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Engineer – Windows to design, build and support Windows Server infrastructure across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments. The role covers migrations, upgrades and transformation programs to deliver reliable enterprise services.

The position emphasizes automation with PowerShell, Active Directory, security hardening and documentation, and requires collaboration with project managers, architects and security specialists.

Qualifications

• Experience as Windows Systems Engineer or similar in enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022+).
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and related Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with Windows migrations, upgrades and transformations.
• PowerShell scripting and automation for repeatable deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test and deploy Windows Server infrastructure across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• Lead Windows Server upgrades, platform modernization and AD enhancements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, cybersecurity specialists and operations teams.
• Drive automation to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
