Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Engineer – Windows to design, build and support Windows Server infrastructures across on‑prem, hybrid and cloud environments, ensuring security and reliability.

You will lead migrations, upgrades, and transformations while collaborating with project managers, architects and cybersecurity specialists. Proficiency in PowerShell and IaC tools will drive automation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience as Windows Systems Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Design, implement and support Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022+).
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services and related tech.
• Experience delivering Windows migrations, upgrades and transformations.
• PowerShell scripting and automation to support repeatable deployments.
• Security hardening, patch management and secure access controls.
• Understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and networking basics.
• Produce technical docs including designs, test plans and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test and deploy Windows Server infrastructure across on-prem, hybrid and cloud.
• Lead and support migrations, platform modernisation and AD enhancements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and security teams to deliver secure, production-ready solutions.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency, reduce risk and reliability.
