Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Engineer – Windows to design, build and support Windows Server infrastructures across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments. You will lead upgrades, modernisation and migrations while collaborating with project teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions.

The role emphasizes automation, security hardening and effective documentation to ensure smooth handover into production and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Windows Systems Engineer in enterprise‑scale environments.
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting Windows Server platforms.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, file services and related Microsoft infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test and deploy Windows Server infrastructure across on‑premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• Lead and support infrastructure projects including Windows Server upgrades and platform modernisation.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and support teams to deliver secure, well‑documented solutions ready for production.
• Drive automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
