Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Cloud Operations Administrator to maintain and optimise secure cloud environments that support critical customer missions. You’ll work with engineering, cyber security and customer stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure and resilient cloud services.

The role involves administering Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud environments, incident and change management, and driving automation with IaC and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Azure, AWS or comparable cloud platforms in production environments.
• Experience with cloud networking, compute, storage and identity services.
• Experience monitoring cloud environments, incident response and problem resolution.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud operating models.
• Ability to work with technical teams, security professionals and customers in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support secure Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud environments with emphasis on availability and security.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes in complex production environments.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation and IaC practices.
