Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Systems Administrator to contribute to secure and resilient enterprise infrastructure. You will implement and support on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.

You will build, configure, test and deploy across Windows, Unix/Linux, virtualised and cloud platforms; collaborate with project managers, cybersecurity specialists and vendors to deliver production-ready solutions; join a team committed to integrity, inclusion and innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems administration or similar technical role supporting enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems, provisioning, configuration, patching and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking, storage, authentication, monitoring, backup and performance management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper‑V, plus troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security, hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management and compliance requirements.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and support project delivery with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test and deploy infrastructure solutions across Windows, Unix, Linux, virtualised and cloud platforms.
• Support infrastructure migrations, upgrades, cloud adoption, technology refresh and platform modernisation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, cybersecurity specialists, vendors and operations teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions from implementation to production handover.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through automation, standardisation and best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
