Job summary

Ecolab in Townsville, Queensland is seeking a hands-on Account Manager to lead relationships with customers in the Water Mining/Heavy division. The role focuses on delivering service excellence, applying a consultative sales approach and deploying system assurance programs to meet clients' key needs.

Ideal candidates will travel with overnight stays, have a strong background in sales or process operations, and enjoy working independently with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Successful background in sales and/or mineral process operations or water treatment experience.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and strong mechanical and technical problem-solving ability.
• Background in technical/mechanical reasoning.
• Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in servicing customers in the sector and supporting field trials of process reagents.
• Equipment testing, water sampling, chemical analysis and ensuring optimal application of chemical treatment programs.
• Assisting with troubleshooting of technical problems to ensure ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations and water treatment facilities.
• Working with Account Managers to gain new business via focused planning, prospecting, industry networking, and internal collaboration.
• Developing strong client relationships by driving value-added and focused service delivery.
• Managing customer inventories and product delivery.
• Gaining a better understanding of in-field process and water treatment services.
