Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer with 5–15 years of experience in drainage and/or flooding to grow our WA/QLD client footprint. You will lead technical delivery, motivate teams, and mentor engineers across major infrastructure projects.

You will work with tools like Civil 3D, 12D, TUFLOW and URBS to deliver robust solutions, while engaging clients and stakeholders to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven drainage/flood modelling experience (5–15+ years).
Demonstrated experience planning hydraulic assessment and design of stormwater networks.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for project teams.
Experience delivering major infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.
Proficient in Civil 3D or 12D and hydraulic/hydrologic modelling tools.

Responsibilities

Provide technical inputs in drainage and/or flood projects across infrastructure sectors.
Deliver drainage designs, stormwater plans and hydraulic modelling.
Mentor engineers and contribute to project delivery and client engagement.
Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders to provide technical advice.
