Job summary
AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer with strong drainage and flood modelling expertise to join our Australian team. The role focuses on complex drainage and hydrology challenges for major infrastructure projects, with relocation support and a hybrid work arrangement from Rockhampton or Mackay offices.

Qualifications
- Proven Drainage/Flood Modelling industry experience (circa 5-15 years+)
- Experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modelling and design of drainage networks
Responsibilities
- Provide technical inputs in delivery of complex drainage and/or flood projects across major infrastructure and development sectors
- Shape design approaches and ensure high-quality, practical outcomes for clients
- Deliver drainage designs using 12D and develop stormwater management plans
- Mentor engineers, contribute to project delivery and client engagement
- Engage with clients and regulators to provide trusted technical advice and contribute to winning work
- Ensure alignment with Australian standards and guidelines
