Job summary

AECOM, based in Townsville or Rockhampton, is seeking an experienced water infrastructure engineer to join its regional team. The role focuses on delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines and storage facilities, across North Queensland and beyond.

You will lead project delivery from BD through design to construction, provide technical leadership across disciplines, and mentor junior engineers while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and professional registration preferred (RPEQ/CPEng).
• Experience on complex multidisciplinary water projects.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Apply water infrastructure design skills to local and national projects.
• Lead project delivery from business development through design to construction.
• Provide technical leadership with multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality on time and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and build relationships with clients.
