Job summary
Evolution Mining Limited seeks a Senior Ventilation Engineer to lead underground ventilation at Ernest Henry and Bert Mines, serving as the Statutory Ventilation Officer to ensure safe operation and regulatory compliance across the site.
You will lead a small technical team, mentor engineers and collaborate with operations and technical stakeholders to drive safety, production efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Underground metalliferous mining experience with ventilation engineering.
- Experience as a Ventilation Officer in underground operations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with stakeholder influence.
- Experience with mine ventilation software: Ventsim, VOD and Deswik.
- Demonstrated leadership mentoring technical professionals.
Responsibilities
- Fulfil the statutory responsibilities of Ventilation Officer for Ernest Henry and Bert Mines.
- Monitor, analyse and optimise underground ventilation systems.
- Manage ventilation data, modelling, inspections and surveys.
- Provide ventilation advice and recommendations to operational and technical stakeholders.
