Based at Ernest Henry and reporting to the Superintendent – Short Term Planning, you will drive the short-term plan and oversee critical tasks across drill and blast, scheduling, and cave planning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering required.
• Extensive underground mining experience in short-term planning and production engineering.
• Experience with Sub Level Caving operations or cave mining methods.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team delivering short-term planning and drill & blast activities.
• Influence production outcomes across the underground operation.
• Lead and develop a team of mining engineers for short-term planning.
• Drive the Short Term Mine Plan from shift execution to a three-month horizon.
• Oversee planning functions including drill and blast design and scheduling.
• Partner with operational and technical teams to align with budget and quarterly plan objectives.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities within the planning horizon and implement solutions.
