Liverpool City Council is seeking a Senior Transport Engineer to design and lead a safe, efficient local transport system across all modes within the Liverpool Local Government Area. The role focuses on space management in the road reserve and leading multi-modal transport engineering initiatives.

You will engage with stakeholders, drive infrastructure programs, and provide expert reports and recommendations to support council objectives and community outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Ensure Council's Traffic and Transport Management functions deliver high-quality, sustainable outcomes.
• Support timely delivery of traffic and transport infrastructure programs and design investigations.
• Provide expert advice on traffic and road safety, including analysis and reporting.
• Represent Council in community forums on traffic, transport and road safety.
• Manage approvals for road permits, closures, and traffic requirements under NSW acts.
• Liaise with external agencies such as Roads and Maritime Services and Transport for NSW.
• Lead the Liverpool Local Transport Forum, including report preparation.
