Data#3 is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for our Managed Field Services team in Australia. You will provide Level 3 operational support, diagnose complex issues, and work directly with customers to resolve incidents across Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes strong communication and stakeholder management, with responsibilities spanning incident analysis, solution recommendations, and maintaining thorough logs.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years’ experience in an IT environment.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory expertise.
• Hands-on VMware troubleshooting and administration.
• Knowledge across Azure, Microsoft 365/O365 and Exchange.
• Basic networking knowledge required.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant industry certifications and tertiary qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 operational support and resolve customer incidents and requests.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Support and administer Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot and administer VMware environments.
• Work across Azure, Microsoft 365/O365 and Exchange.
• Perform incident analysis and problem resolution within service targets.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate job logging and administration.
• Assess technical risks and implications of new technologies.
