Data#3 is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for our Managed Field Services team in Australia. You will provide Level 3 operational support, diagnose complex issues, and work directly with customers to resolve incidents across Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes strong communication and stakeholder management, with responsibilities spanning incident analysis, solution recommendations, and maintaining thorough logs.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years’ experience in an IT environment.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory expertise.
• Hands-on VMware troubleshooting and administration.
• Knowledge across Azure, Microsoft 365/O365 and Exchange.
• Basic networking knowledge required.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant industry certifications and tertiary qualifications desirable.

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working directly with customers and taking ownership of Level 3 issues?

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our Managed Field Services team, providing Level 3 operational support and helping customers resolve complex infrastructure issues.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing Level 3 operational support and resolving customer incidents and requests
• Troubleshooting complex technical issues and recommending effective solutions
• Supporting and administering Windows Server and Active Directory
• Troubleshooting and administering VMware environments
• Working across Azure, Microsoft 365/O365 and Exchange
• Performing incident analysis and problem resolution within required service targets
• Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate job logging and administration
• Assessing technical risks and the implications of new technologies

What you’ll bring
