Job summary

Emerging IT in Sydney is seeking a Level 3 Service Desk Technician to join our Technical Support team in North Sydney. This senior, hands-on role serves as the escalation point for complex issues across our client base, reporting to the Technical Support Manager.

You will resolve escalated tickets, deliver premium client service, and mentor Level 1/2 technicians while contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate has MSP experience and strong Microsoft virtualization and server

Qualifications

Senior-level experience in MSP or IT services required.
Hands-on expertise with VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server, SQL, and Active Directory.
ITIL v4 Foundation knowledge or certification preferred.
Strong problem-solving, organisation, and communication skills.
Ability to mentor junior staff and work in a team.

Responsibilities

Own and resolve escalated technical support tickets.
Troubleshoot complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, server, virtualization, and network environments.
Develop effective solutions quickly to meet client demands.
Mentor and support Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
Communicate progress and deadlines to clients and internal teams.
Ensure tickets are documented and managed within SLA.
Enter timesheets and meet utilization metrics.
Follow processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
